Have you noticed a pattern here? I m good for awhile, then I slide back into the pit of neglecting my blog!!! SO, I am gonna try to post everyday.. what I have done for that day! ( I know, I have said this before, but I will TRY ok? LOL) So, I have been working on Christmas cards... yes I said Christmas cards. Scraplovers.com has been having this card a day challenges all month (yes I am behind on that as well!!) BUT I am catching up! Here's my cards I did today!
So, doing these cards got me to thinking about Joy and Peace. What brings Joy and Peace to my life? Well the joy comes in from watching my kids grow and learn and I am just amazed at the things they can do! Peace, I think on a whole my life is quite peaceful. I don't mean like the quiet I get everyday when the kids are at school, I am talking about the kind of peace one gets when they sit back and take a look at their life, and surroundings and can sigh and say to themselves.. Good Job. I feel as a single mom for the past 12 years, I have done as good a job as I could possibly do. Has it been a hard road? Yep, sure has, but now I sit back and think it felt good. Working hard, playing hard... all those things have brought a great deal of peace to my life. It has helped me learn about the kind of person I am, and the kind of person I want to always be. No compromises in what I feel is best for my family or myself, we all deserve the best... and I know without a shadow of a doubt I can supply the best that God has in His plan for us all! That is the peace that comes from understanding that God is Supreme, He is Holy, and He is in charge of our lives! Having faith that He will take care of us always leaves a great peaceful feeling in my soul!!!
